Military Leadership Forum connects business leaders to military community via Zoom

by BIZ Magazine

The Bossier Chamber of Commerce is gathering top leaders from Barksdale Air Force Base and our local military units for its Military Leadership Forum at 10 a.m. on November 12 via Zoom.

The Military Leadership Forum, presented by sponsors Barksdale Federal Credit Union and the Cyber Innovation Center, was created to increase community awareness about all of the major happenings in our military community and gain insight on the day-to-day operations for the Air Force, as well as our local guard and reserve units.

We have invited the leadership from the Bossier and Shreveport National Guard, Barksdale Air Force Base, Army Reserve Center, U.S. Navy Reserve, MEPS, Marine Corps Reserve, and Camp Minden to speak during the 2020 edition of this event.

“Our goal is to cultivate awareness of our military’s mission and how our community can enhance support for the men and women of Barksdale Air Force Base, our local reserve and guard units, their families and our veterans,” Kattie Hollay, Bossier Chamber Military Liaison, said. “While we have moved this forum to an online format due to COVID-19, we knew we had to continue to host this event as the information these leaders will share with the business community will be important for our community leaders to know.”

Registration is $35 and tickets are available online at bossierchamber.com/shop or by phone at (318) 746-0252.
