LSU-HS: Nathan Elected to ABOHNS Board of Directors

New directors have been elected to serve on the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery’s (ABOHNS) Board of Directors. LSU Health Shreveport’s Cherie-Ann Nathan, MD, FACS, was elected to the ABOHN Board and will serve a five-year term, which began in June 2020 and may be renewed once. Dr. Nathan is the Pou Endowed Professor and Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at LSU Health Shreveport. She is also Director of Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery and Research at the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center. Dr. Nathan is a Surgeon-Scientist funded by the National Cancer Institute since 2000. She is currently the President of the American Head and Neck Society, serves on the Council of the Society of University Otolaryngologists, and is President-elect of the Association of Academic Departments of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
