EAP announces finalists in small biz innovation contest

The Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP) has announced North Louisiana’s most innovative small business finalists, nominated by the public. The Top Six nominated businesses include Whisk Dessert Bar, Sanctuary Glass Studio, Innolyzer, LA New Product Development, Cyberreef, and University Veterinary Hospital. These businesses will be voted on by the public through August 1st, and the winning business will be awarded $2,500 cash and billboard advertising.

The EAP Innovation Hero contest began on June 1st and ran through July 4th, where the public nominated small businesses in all twenty-one parishes in North Louisiana based on their innovative practices during the Covid-19 shutdown.

As the Covid-19 shutdown forced many small businesses to close their doors, there were many small businesses that came up with innovative ways to continue to serve customers and expand their offerings. Staying open meant being creative, and the team at EAP wants to celebrate those businesses.
