Periodically, the Bossier Chamber of Commerce will highlight some of its members that are engaging in interesting or innovative endeavors. BIZ. Magazine is pleased to publish these spotlights in partnership with the Bossier Chamber.

Ed’s Emporium has been offering custom stained glass, fused glass, classes, workshops and repairs in Bossier City since 1981. During COVID-19, Eric Allen began creating Hero Hearts, stained glass hearts to give to our local heroes that have been on the front lines during the pandemic. Allen and some of his regular customers volunteered to make 2,200 hearts. Now they are bagged up and ready to be delivered to healthcare workers, first responders and anyone serving on the front lines – those who have been tempered in fire just like these hearts, Allen added.

The note with each heart reads: Please take a glass heart. It was made in appreciation for your commitment to the safety of others. It can be carried easily in your pocket to remind you that you are valued.

Interested in classes? Contact Ed’s at 318.742.6555 for more information or to schedule a private class with your friends/family. Allen says during this time, he recommends getting a group of people who are comfortable being around one another or are already coming in contact regularly and schedule a private class together!
