The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau collaborated with area hotels to offer package deals for guests to receive discounted experiences at local restaurants and attractions.

SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, LA – The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau collaborated with three local hotels to offer package deals as part of their “Press Play in Shreveport-Bossier” summer marketing campaign. Residents seeking a staycation and regional visitors seeking a nearcation are encouraged to take advantage of these specials while they last. The packages include low room rates and exclusive offers, including more than 10 discounts at local restaurants, attractions, experiences and more. “Summer getaways are an essential part of tourism, especially in Shreveport-Bossier,” said Brandy Evans, vice president of communications at the Tourist Bureau. “Travel sentiments have changed as a result of COVID-19 and people are looking for packages and savings.”

Participating hotels include Courtyard by Marriott Shreveport Airport, located at 6001 Financial Plaza in Shreveport; Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport-Bossier City, located at 2015 Old Minden Road in Bossier City; and Residence Inn Shreveport-Bossier Downtown, located at 501 Traffic Street in Bossier City. As more Press Play hotel offers become available, they will be listed on the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau’s website with the corresponding promo codes. Upon arrival at a hotel, guests will receive a rack card with exclusive deals with everything from free beignets at Marilynn’s Place and buy one, get one free admission at Sci-Port Discovery Center, to discounted experiences with bike rentals at SB Rides and lane rentals at Red River Range.
