The Bossier Chamber of Commerce is spotlighting members who are doing unique things right now or helping out the community in some way. The following are three of those member businesses.

Shreveport Coca-Cola Bottling Company has been helping local restaurants with their #SupportLocal campaign, creating hundreds of banners for the restaurants to hang outside of their establishments, and added the #SupportLocal signs to several of their Coca-Cola trucks as well as partnering with CenturyLink and the Independence Bowl to show their support on their marquees. The company has also produced a commercial highlighting 12 local restaurants as well!

The Dollar Mania & Furniture Express team donated $25,000 worth of COVID-19 essentials to our heroes as well as those most vulnerable at a time when there was a major shortage of essential items due to uncontrollable demand. The company donated supplies to more than 16 entities, including local nonprofits, law enforcement and hospitals.

Advance Awards and Gifts has not only been donated awards to local healthcare entities to recognize the great work of our #HealthcareHeroes during the pandemic, the business also has used their talents to pivot and create a tool to help people avoid touching surfaces out in public. Owner Terri Hensley used their laser engraver to create this tool to open doors, touch keypads and more, all while not getting your hands on any potentially contaminated surfaces. While other companies are charging more for similar items nationally, these are just $5 each. For each one sold, Advance Awards will donate $1 each to the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank and the Bossier Council on Aging.
