Johnson announces grant for Shreveport Downtown Airport

U.S. Representative Mike Johnson (LA-04) today announced the Shreveport Downtown Airport has been awarded a $150,000 grant from the Transportation Department (DOT) to rehabilitate its runway.

“These resources and improvements are critically important to the Shreveport Downtown Airport as it fulfills its role in reviving our region’s economy,” said Johnson. “I want to thank the Trump administration and DOT Secretary Elaine Chao for helping to ensure the airport’s runways will remain safe and well-maintained for many years to come.”
