BIZ. suspending paywall during pandemic

by BIZ Magazine

David Specht, publisher of BIZ Magazine, has announced the suspension of the magazine’s paywall during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Now, more than ever, it is important for people to have reliable information,” Specht said.

The business community is looking for the latest information that affects their livelihood, which is the specific niche that BIZ serves. “We have been serving the business community for more than a decade, and we need each other to survive during these unprecedented times,” Specht said.

Specht added that BIZ’s daily report reaches more than 3,000 business leaders each day, providing up to date information in an ever-changing business world. “We want all businesses to have unblocked access to this mission-critical information,” he said.

Moving forward, Specht said he will take a day-by-day approach to things, both with regard to the printed magazine and the website. “We will producing our April edition as an e-magazine,” he said. “That way, people who are self-quarantined can still receive the information in a format they recognize.”

“We don’t know what the immediate and long-term future holds, but we are in it together,” Specht said.
