Amid the nation’s reaction to the COVID-19 outbreak, Shreveport Regional Airport continues to operate close to normal, according to Public Relations Manager Mark Crawford.
“We are still open and airlines have still not cut any of our flights,” Crawford said.
The numbers of passengers on those flights, however, have seen some changes.
“While most of the flights are going out only about half full, many of the flights are arriving into SHV almost completely full.,” Crawford said.
For those looking to travel in or out of Shreveport Regional, the airport is following protocols for disinfecting.
“We are continuing with our accelerated cleaning schedule of all high traffic areas,” Crawford said.
