Deep South Equipment has done it again. The Hyster/Yale group, a Cleveland, Ohio based material handling company who markets their comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts globally, has named their Dealer of Distinction winners for 2019. And Shreveport’s very own Deep South Equipment has been recognized as an award recipient. This is Deep South Equipment’s fourth consecutive year to receive the distinguished award.
The prestigious Dealer of Distinction award recognizes top-performing Hyster/Yale forklift dealers across the country who drive their organizations to the highest level of sales and service performance.
To be named a Hyster Dealer of Distinction, companies must meet defined business practices and overall rigorous performance standards that are updated annually to keep pace with evolving customer expectations and industry dynamics.
The Dealer of Distinction recipients will be honored at a special awards celebration in April at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, CA.
Bob Sattler, Vice President of Dealer Business Development for the Hyster/Yale group, said Hyster forklift dealers and the people they employ have a very thorough understanding of the customers application and their business needs. “They are passionate about our industry, committed to the safety and well-being of their associates and dedicated to helping their customers increase productivity,” said Sattler.
Sattler also says the Hyster/Yale forklift dealers of America who earn this award exhibit the highest level of customer satisfaction. “These dealers exemplify a bold, entrepreneurial spirt and quest for excellence. We are delighted to honor their achievement,” said Sattler.
Deep South Equipment, a Shreveport, LA based business, is a material handling company which focuses on providing sales, service, parts and rentals for several distinct brands of product with forklifts accounting for roughly 76 percent of their business. The company is family-owned and has eight locations in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
John Parsons of Shreveport, LA started the company over thirty years ago and has since positioned it as the elite material handling company of the South-with numerous awards and distinctions and over two hundred and fifty employees.
Parsons says he and his team are honored to be the recipients of this distinguished award for 2019 and appreciate the community and all their customers nationwide.
