The Strategic Action Council of Northwest Louisiana’s board of directors has unanimously voted to support the 2019 Shreveport Bond Proposal.

“We feel that this bond is critical to our community and will increase the likelihood of retaining and building a vibrant workforce,” said Executive Director Taylor Jamison. “It is crucial that Shreveport possess the simple necessities that a city of our size should have. We must invest in our city if we expect to move forward.”

After reviewing the data presented by the City of Shreveport and entertaining a presentation made by Mayor Perkins and his staff, SAC’s board moved to support the bond proposal on October 10th.
