Bossier Parish Community College’s Division of Economic and Workforce Development is hosting this career fair event on Oct. 16 to put College Transition Program students and the general BPCC student body in contact with local employers in their field of study.
BPCC is also hosting a Resume Café on Oct. 9 starting at 10 a.m. These are career readiness events that will allow students to hear best practices from industry professionals on how to craft a stellar document for internships and employment that fully narrates who you are and what you have to offer.
Professionals are being sought to provide feedback, guidance, and lead discussions for this group of aspiring workers. This unique opportunity allows participants to personally meet with motivated and talented individuals and potentially interview onsite. Attending this event is an excellent way for a business to gain visibility and maximize recruiting potential.
Students may also be interested in apprenticeships, internships, and potentially launching career in the military.
