Matthew C. Raley, MD, has joined Kamal A. Masri, MD, and Kevin M. Langlois, MD, at WK Lung Specialists, opening a new clinic in suite 311 of the Physicians Center at Willis-Knighton South & the Center for Women’s Health.
Dr. Raley earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at LSU Shreveport. He then entered medical school at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, earning his medical degree and completing a residency there in internal medicine as well as a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
“Many of the diseases I treat are very complicated,” Dr. Raley says. “My job is to provide the patients with the information they need to make a decision that’s right for them based on their goals and philosophies.”
Among Dr. Raley’s skills are traditional bronchoscopy and specialized training in more modern approaches such as endobronchial ultrasound and navigational bronchoscopy, which uses CT scans to create a 3D roadmap to the lungs.
In addition to this office practice Dr. Raley also provides care for patients who are hospitalized in the critical care unit.
Dr. Raley and his partners accept new patients and most insurance plans.
