Junior Achievement of North Louisiana will once again recognize business leaders in with the 2019 JA Business Hall of Fame Laureate Announcement and Luncheon Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shreveport Convention Center – Rotunda, 400 Caddo St.
According to Junior Achievement, the 2019 JA Laureates are not only exceptional in the business world, but have demonstrated a lifetime of achievement and investment in our community. Junior Achievement of North Louisiana seeks to recognize them for their outstanding achievements.
This event will be followed by the Junior Achievement 2018 Business Hall of Fame event, which will be held Oct. 17, 2019, at the Shreveport Convention Center, 400 Caddo Street.
At Junior Achievement, we give young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. Our volunteer-delivered, relevant, hands-on experiences give students knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. JA programs make a connection between what students learn in school and demonstrate how these lessons can be applied in their lives. JA enhances the relevance of their classroom learning and increases their understanding of the value of staying in school.
