BBB is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Annual Torch Awards.
Businesses will be recognized in four categories:
- Integrity Category (practicing integrity in the marketplace);
- Customer Commitment Category (businesses that have an outstanding customer service program);
- Good Neighbor Category (businesses and their employees that play a significant role in support of local organizations and charities);
- Not-For-Profit Category (not-for-profit organizations).

The Torch Award Luncheon will be on Oct. 31, 2019, at East Ridge Country Club, Shreveport, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with lunch and presentation of awards.
The BBB will also honor the recipients of scholarships for students majoring in business from Louisiana State University – Shreveport, Centenary College, Southern University-Shreveport, Bossier Parish Community College, Northwestern State University and Louisiana Tech University.
The featured speaker will be Teddy Allen, Louisiana Tech University and Sonja Bailes as emcee.
