Cody M. Tingle, MD, has joined Internal Medicine Associates at 8001 Youree Drive, Suite 400, in Shreveport.
The practice includes Robert C. Hernandez, MD; Sally S. Ball, MD; Scott McRight, MD; Dakota Boston, MD, and David M. Abdehou, MD.
A Shreveport native, Dr. Tingle comes to Internal Medicine Associates from Imperial Health in Lake Charles, where he was a hospital-based physician with an emphasis on acute critical care. He is a graduate of C.E. Byrd High School and LSU Shreveport, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in cellular and molecular biology.
After completing his undergraduate education, he entered Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, earning a Diploma of Higher Education with Commendation in Medical Sciences, followed by a medical degree from St. George’s University Medical School, St. George’s, Grenada. He returned to Shreveport for a residency in internal medicine at LSU Health Shreveport.
During his professional training, Dr. Tingle completed clerkships in internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, OB/GYN and neurology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center at Long Island college Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and a psychiatry clerkship at Beth Israel Medical Center for Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Manhattan, New York.
