Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC is proud to announce the promotions of Nicholas C. Courville, CPA, Christopher W. Solomon, CPA and Jerrod L. Tinsley, CPA to partner, effective July 1, 2019.
Nicholas C. Courville, CPA (Nick) began his career at Heard, McElroy & Vestal in 2011. He is a graduate of Northwestern State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Nick has a strong background in audit and assurance services, assisting a wide range of companies in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
Nick is active in both professional and community organizations, currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), the Ark-La-Tex Ambassadors Club and the Holy Angels’ Champions Advisory Committee. Nick is a past Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 recipient as well as a past participant in the Greater Shreveport Chamber Leadership Program and the Louisiana Association of Not-for-Profit Organizations (LANO) Community Leaders Program.
Christopher W. Solomon, CPA (Chris) joined Heard, McElroy & Vestal in June 2008 after working in the banking industry for two years. He graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Analysis. Chris often works with the audit department as a key member of the entertainment, digital media and film audit team reviewing and performing Agreed Upon Procedures in accordance with Louisiana Economic Development (LED) requirements. He works with all state tax incentives offered by LED, specifically Enterprise Zone, Industrial Tax Exemption, Quality Jobs and Angel Investor Tax Credits among many others.
Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society Of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. In the community, he serves as Treasurer of the Dream Hunt
