Local businessman and candidate for Police Jury Wes Shepherd (R-Benton) has been named the new President & CEO of Chanse Energy Corporation.
In his new role, Wes will oversee production across six states and daily operations of 100 wells in northwest Louisiana. Chanse Energy was founded in 1985 in Shreveport, facilitating the purchase of P & O Falco Exploration in Bossier City.
Outgoing President & Chairman of the Board Kai Chang said, “Wes has been an exemplary employee for eight years and it was time for him to step in and take control of the company. I am confident in his ability to continue its legacy and to grow Chanse Energy.”

Wes Shepherd will be on the ballot for Police Jury, District 3 in the upcoming fall election.
