LSUS Continuing Education is still offering various summer camps for K-12 students this July, designed to give kids supplemental instruction and training during their summer break. However, for this week will be mostly filled with leisure courses for adults seeking to expand their knowledge base and or find a new hobby. We are also have a special offer available this month for our online Career Step programs.
Learn to Sew a Tote Bag starts on 7/2/2019 is a beginner friendly sewing class where students will learn how to thread the machine, fill a bobbin, and balance the tension and more; all while creating a tote bag. Observational drawing start on 7/2/2019 and is a great beginner course intended to raise the confidence and skills of anyone who feels like ‘they can’t even draw a stick man’ and provides all materials. Writing a History of Your Life starts on 7/2/2019 and will help students learn how to tell stories in in treating and readable ways ultimately putting all the skills they learn to create a written heirloom that can be cherished for generation. Lastly, for those adults still looking for more professional programs this July we are offering a nonprofit program; NPA08 Trends and innovations. In this course students will explore new emerging trends in revenue generating programs. The class starts the 1st of July.
Career Step offers various professional online training programs. This summer they are offering a limited $500 discount on all their course including but not limited to: Healthcare IT, Computer Technician, Medical Coding and Billing, and Pharmacy Technician. This offer is time sensitive and will only be in effective up until June 30th.
