GDC taps two new members for Cross Bayou project

GraceHebert Architects and Ozanne Construction have been tapped to lead Gateway Development Consortium’s design-build team on the billion-dollar Cross Bayou Point Development Project.

Based in Baton Rouge, GraceHebert is a 51-year-old full-service architectural and interior design firm specializing in master planning and programming solutions. GraceHebert has an expansive portfolio that includes commercial, municipal,  educational and criminal justice complexes.

Founded in 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio, Ozanne Construction is a multi-disciplinary construction management company that has worked on large public private projects across the country. GraceHebert and Ozanne have been working together for the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s since 2008 and rebuilt the parish’ criminal justice facilities after Hurricane Katrina.

Rickey Hall CEO of Hall Builders and a partner in GDC stated, “We are excited to add GraceHebert and Ozanne Construction to our team. They have a unique understanding of the local construction industry and experience to guide GDC through the master planning, execution of master development agreement and ultimately building the project.”
