John A. Fox, MD, a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon and scoliosis specialist, has joined the Willis-Knighton Physician Network and has established WK Pediatric Orthopaedics & Scoliosis in the WK Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center, 7925 Youree Drive in Shreveport.
Dr. Fox received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedics at Duke University and a fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, where he received special training in pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis.
Before joining the Willis-Knighton Physician Network, Dr. Fox was at Shriners Hospital for Children in Shreveport, where he served as chief of staff.
Dr. Fox has a special interest in growth-related orthopaedic conditions, particularly deformities of the pediatric and adolescent spine. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America.
