Main Squeeze Juice Co., a newcomer to the more than $5 billion juice market, is continuing its expansion into its home state of Louisiana with a new location opening in Bossier City.
Located at 2114 Airline Drive, the store is slated to open in February of 2019, and will be owned and operated by husband and wife duo Kurt and Caroline Nixon. This will be the first of two stores they plan to open, the other slated to open within the next several years in Shreveport.
“The clean eating trend has been growing- except it’s no longer a trend, it’s a way of life many are choosing to adopt,” Kurt said. “From my first experience with Main Squeeze, I knew I wanted to bring it home with me to Northwest Louisiana. I wanted to bring this delicious and healthy alternative home for my family and my community.”
No stranger to business management, Kurt has spent the past 8 years as the owner of a local engineer and surveying business, Nixon Engineering Solutions, LLC. Working on many large and high profile projects throughout the community. Before that, he spent many years with two other engineering firms while also serving in the Louisiana National Guard.
“With five children, I’m constantly trying to find somewhere that is quick, affordable, nutritious and delicious. And finding something that the kids like, while still being good for them has been a challenge,” added Nixon. “My family loves Main Squeeze and I’m confident the rest of the Shreveport-Bossier community will, too.”
Main Squeeze’s mission is to make healthy easier, and the company’s nutritionist-designed, superfood-centric menu does exactly that by offering a daily source of plant-based nutrition packed with natural and quick energy. The concept’s proprietary recipes feature chef-inspired cold-pressed juices and superfood smoothies, along with one-, two- and three-day juice cleanse programs, wellness shots, and acai bowls created from organic and wild-harvested acai berries from the Amazon rainforest in Northeast Brazil.
“Health begins and ends with how you choose to fuel your body,” said Thomas Nieto, CEO of Main Squeeze. “We strongly believe in crafting a menu with something for everyone, and we pride ourselves in knowing that every menu item is specifically chosen to help fuel and build a healthier lifestyle.”
Founded in 2016, Main Squeeze Juice Co. is a New Orleans-based juice and smoothie bar franchise with three locations now open and operating. It plans to open several more stores throughout the next year. According to Nieto, the brand currently has nearly 40 additional franchisee- and corporate-owned locations in various stages of development, and is poised to become a household brand within the next few years.
