All signs are pointing towards Shreveport becoming a new hotbed of entrepreneurship, new technology and product innovation.

In that vein, local leaders in the space of product design and development Louisiana New Product Development Team (LA NPDT) has announced not just their 2nd anniversary in successful business, but also that they have relocated to the Intertech 1 building of BRF’s Intertech Science Park, where they will collaborate with the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP) and Digital Media Institute at Intertech (DMI) to serve entrepreneurs, inventors, business owners and startups.

The excitement surrounding this large announcement for the Louisiana entrepreneurial tech community is high and rising.

“We are incredibly enthusiastic about this move and collaboration and look forward to the ribbon-cutting event which will take place on the 11th of November @ 3:00 pm,” commented Onega Ulanova, a co-founder of LA NPDT. “We have it all under one roof, in one place. We have brought together all the varied resources needed to make entrepreneurs be able to succeed, from screening their ideas to crafting business plans that make sense, to actual product design and prototype preparation, manufacturing and marketing. There are even services to help entrepreneurs become investment-ready. We plan on making Shreveport a city like no other in Ark-La-Tex, and it’s a true win-win for all involved.”

Some of the specialties of the LA NPDT include concept design, electronic design, rapid prototyping, design for manufacturing, 3D printing, market research, design for manufacturing, web development, marketing, and much more. All aspects of this work are expected to be able to reach new heights through collaboration at Intertech 1, with both EAP and DMI showing the strength of Shreveport tech businesses when they collaborate and work together to deliver both superior results and to build the local tech community into something very special.

EAP are experts at helping startups get off the ground and succeed, delivering lean and sound strategies for future growth on their innovative platform.

DMI offers one-year certificates in animation, visual effects, interactive software development, and interactive content. They are happy to deliver a number of different workshops and summer camps revolving around these areas, taught by passionate professionals in the field. They are nationally accredited by the Commission of the Council of Occupational Education, held to high standards of excellence when dealing with students, employers, and the community in general.

LA NPDT is located in the Intertech Science Park at 2031 Kings Highway.
