Shreveport to host Job Fair on Thursday

The City of Shreveport will host a job fair Thursday to offer residents greater opportunity for better jobs.

“We want to make sure our citizens have opportunities and the necessary training to secure a good quality of life and this upcoming job fair will help them to do that,” said Mayor Ollie Tyler. “This administration is continually eager to find solutions and strategies for the betterment of the citizens, including the growth, enhancement, and marketing of economic development opportunities.”

The Job Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Shreveport Convention Center, 400 Caddo St. This event is open to the general public and free parking will be available in the garage.

Governmental agencies and area companies will be seeking candidates for open positions. Some companies include: Teleperformance, Hyundai Glovis, Christus Health, Brentwood Behavioral Hospital, and General Dynamic Information Technology.
