RUSTON – Origin Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Origin Bancorp, Inc., has announced that it has promoted Ryan Kilpatrick to Executive Vice President, Chief Brand and Communications Officer.
Kilpatrick has served the organization since April 2006, most recently as Senior Vice President, Director of Culture Strategies and Governmental Affairs. While at Origin he has been responsible for business development, building a strong corporate culture devoted to employee engagement and community involvement, strengthening relationships with customers and shareholders, and he managed corporate communications and governmental affairs. In his new position, he will continue his work in corporate culture and governmental affairs while overseeing the bank’s brand strategy and corporate communications.
“Ryan has been an integral part of creating the brand for Origin Bank and for driving communications through the process of our becoming a public company,” said Lance Hall, Origin Bank President. “He has been a key partner for me and a great asset to the bank, and I’m excited about what he will accomplish in his new role.”
Kilpatrick has a Bachelor of Arts in history from Louisiana Tech University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He is community focused, currently serving as a board member for the Louisiana Tech Foundation and is a former chairman of the board for a number of organizations, including MedCamps of Louisiana, the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Ducks Unlimited. He is a past board member for United Way of Northeast Louisiana and the North Louisiana Economic Partnership. He has a number of community awards to his credit, including being selected as the Ruston-Lincoln Parish Young Business Person of the Year, a Louisiana Tech Young Alumnus of the Year and as a Northeast Louisiana Top 40 Under 40 honoree.
Kilpatrick is married to Sarah Kilpatrick and together they have three sons. He maintains an office at Origin’s Ruston Financial Center at 1511 North Trenton Street in Ruston.
