Small Business Development Center to move regional office from NSU to BPCC

The LSBDC Northwest Central Region office will be moving from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches to Bossier Parish Community College’s campus.

Bossier Parish Community College will announce the opening of the Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) Northwest Central Region office on the College’s campus, effective Oct. 1. The even will be marked with a special reception at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Chancellor’s Boardroom (Building A, Room 230), at BPCC, 6220 E. Texas St., Bossier City.

“We are excited to welcome the LSBDC Northwest Central Region office to BPCC, and we look forward to a long-standing partnership which will serve area businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners,” said Dr. Gayle Flowers, BPCC’s vice chancellor for economic and workforce development.

The center provides business expertise and resources to existing and start-up small business in the areas of business development, market information and research, business finance, marketing, and training at no cost to clients in Avoyelles, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Grant, Natchitoches, Rapides, Sabine, Vernon, Red River, Webster and Winn Parishes.
