Brammer Engineering celebrates its 50th Anniversary of service to the oil and gas industry with a celebratory reception on Sept. 6 at the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce from 4-6 p.m.

Guests will include employees, company retirees, local clients, industry partners and business associates. The highlight of the event will be at 4:30 p.m. when State Senator Ryan Gatti presents to Keith Evans, President of Brammer Engineering, a resolution passed by the Louisiana State Legislature to commend the company’s commitment to excellence in the oil and gas industry.

L. R. “Bob” Brammer, Jr., founded Brammer Engineering, Inc. in Shreveport, LA on Sept. 9, 1968 with one employee and one client. He identified the need to provide engineering and operational services to small independent oil and gas companies in the Ark-La-Tex. Brammer Engineering was outsourcing E&P services long before this practice became commonplace in the energy industry. Bob retired in 1995, but his vision and principles of service, integrity, honesty and hard work are still the driving forces of the company today. Through the standards that he set, Brammer Engineering has continued to grow and provide engineering, operational, land, regulatory, accounting and health, safety and environmental services to companies active in the Upper and Lower Gulf Coast, Mid Continent, South Texas, Permian and Appalachian Regions of the US, and Internationally as well.
