BBB is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Annual Torch Awards.
Again this year we will recognize businesses in four categories:
- Integrity Category (practicing integrity in the marketplace);
- Customer Commitment Category (businesses that have an outstanding customer service program);
- Good Neighbor Category (businesses and their employees that play a significant role in support of local organizations and charities);
- and Not-For-Profit Category (not-for-profit organizations).

The Torch Award Luncheon will be on Oct. 26 at East Ridge Country Club, Shreveport, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with lunch and presentation of awards. The featured speaker will be Scott Muscat, general manager of the Shreveport Mudbugs.
The BBB will also honor the recipients of scholarships for students majoring in business from Louisiana State University – Shreveport, Centenary College, Southern University-Shreveport, Bossier Parish Community College, Northwestern State University and Louisiana Tech University.
