Argent Financial Group named one of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies

RUSTON – Argent Financial Group has been named one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies through its inclusion on the 37th annual Inc. 5000 List, published by Inc. Magazine.

Argent ranked #4377 on a list of 5,000 small and mid-sized businesses across the country. This year marks the first time the company has been recognized on the list.

Argent is one of 233 financial services companies on the list. It is one of just 33 companies from Louisiana and the only company in north Louisiana to make the list.

The list is ranked according to percentage revenue growth between 2014 and 2017. To qualify, businesses must be based in the United States, be privately held, for-profit and independent, meaning they are not a subsidiary or division of another company. Revenues in 2014 must have been at least $100,000 and at least $2 million in 2017.

“We are honored to be recognized on this year’s Inc. 5000 list for our growth and dedication to expanding our services and clientele,” said Kyle McDonald, CEO of Argent Financial Group. “This outstanding accomplishment belongs to our entire professional staff, who have made this possible through their attitude of humble confidence, their unbiased approach to managing and growing our clients’ wealth and their commitment to fiduciary service. We look forward to our company continuing to flourish as we provide our clients with the exceptional service they deserve.”

Since its inception in 1990, Argent has steadily grown in both geographic reach and amount of wealth managed. Today, the company is responsible for $19 billion in client assets and its mineral management division oversees oil and gas rights that encompass two million acres. It employs more than 270 professionals and has 29 locations in 12 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
