This past Father’s Day weekend, Kevin Murphy and his team, Laveer Wealth Management, were proud to sponsor and participate in Shreveport’s Second Annual Blue Man Run, an event directly benefiting Regional Urology’s local chapter of Us Too International in the fight against prostate cancer.
Kevin Murphy and his team at Ameriprise Financial united with Regional Urology and Us Too in their continued effort to fund scientific research in the quest for a cure. Making a difference in the lives of their customers and in the community is one of Ameriprise’s founding principles.
The team at Laveer Wealth Management knows that there are real men and families behind each prostate cancer statistic, which is why they are committed to foundations that shape a better future for our local community.
Murphy and Laveer Wealth Management also partnered with Feeding America, a network of 201 nonprofit food banks, as part of their annual National Day of Service: a day dedicated to providing fresh and shelf-stable food to low-income families throughout the region.
The event was the first of two national days of service that Ameriprise arranges each year in partnership with Feeding America. Being one of five food banks in the state, the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana, located in Shreveport, is the largest distributor of donated food for the NWLA seven-parish area.
