El Dorado, Ark. — Altice USA, one of the largest broadband communications and video services providers in the U.S. offering internet, TV and phone products under the Optimum and Suddenlink brands, today announces that it has named Robbie Lee the Regional Vice President of the Mid-South Market, which includes Suddenlink operations in major cities such as Arkadelphia and El Dorado, Ark., and Lake Charles, Alexandria, and Bossier City.
In this newly created role, Mr. Lee will focus on engaging the local market with particular emphasis on enhancing the customer experience and quality of service for Suddenlink customers, as well as the company’s involvement in the local community. Mr. Lee is based out of El Dorado, Ark. and reports to Pragash Pillai, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience and Market Engagement. Mr. Lee has worked at Altice USA for more than 30 years, serving in technical operations leadership.
“As a local company with employees who live and work in the area, our number one priority is providing the best service to our Suddenlink customers and being an integral part of our local communities. Altice USA recognizes the differences that exist across the regions we serve and the decision to further invest in local leadership underscores our commitment to our local customers,” said Lee. “I’m very excited to lead our Mid-South region and to find new ways to connect with our local customers, our local business and our local employees so that we can continue to deliver the very best Suddenlink products and services.”
The Mid-South Suddenlink market has seen substantial progress since Altice acquired Suddenlink, including network upgrades and enhancements, further driving quality of service and making way for next-generation product and service offerings. Mr. Lee cited fast broadband speeds, including the availability of 1 Gig internet service, and the upcoming Altice One all-in-one connectivity and entertainment service as examples of recent investments.
In addition to technology enhancements, Mr. Lee notes the company’s employment of hundreds of local residents through the Mid-South area as well as its partnership with the Central Louisiana Foodbank as ways the company invests in the local communities.
