DALLAS – Dillas Quesadillas announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Shreveport restaurateur Pete John to establish the Primeaux Restaurant Group.
Primeaux Restaurant Group will be responsible for developing and growing the Dillas brand in Louisiana and east Texas. Plans are already underway for the first of 10 locations which will bring an estimated 500 new jobs to the area.
“This is a great step forward for the Dillas brand as we make our market entry into Louisiana,” said Kyle Gordon, founder and owner of Dillas Quesadillas. “We are very excited about bringing something different to Louisiana. Pete has a deep understanding of the foodservice industry which will result in an excellent experience for our guests. We trust the Primeaux Restaurant Group will represent the Dillas brand and its core values in Louisiana.”
Dillas’ first Louisiana location is expected to open in September in Towne Oaks Square Shopping Center located on Pierremont Road in Shreveport (formerly Pie Works). Sale Commercial Properties handled lease negotiations and construction was completed by Karl Rosenblath Construction, LLC. Jason Cram of Vintage Design Group, LLC is leading the design team for the new location.
“I am really excited about the partnership with Dillas Quesadillas. Being actively involved in the community and serving a fresh product in a fast, clean environment is very important to us. Kyle and his leadership team share our passion which really makes this partnership a great fit,” said John. “We could not be more excited to bring this unique, over-the-top experience to the entire state of Louisiana, beginning in Shreveport.”
