Mike McSwain Architect joins GDC’s Cross Bayou development

Mike McSwain Architect, LLC has joined Gateway Development Consortium’s (GDC) team as the lead architectural firm on its billion-dollar Cross Bayou Point development.

Mike McSwain Architect is a 13-year-old firm, based in Shreveport that has designed projects across the globe.  “I’m proud that GDC has turned to my agency to lead the design team on this ground-breaking project,” said owner Mike MCSwain. “This project represents an opportunity for extraordinary growth in our city.”

McSwain is a veteran development executive in the architecture, engineering and planning space with experience that spans multi-family residential; mixed-use; commercial office space, technology and higher education, which will be beneficial to Cross Bayou Point’s development, said Daron West of AirRail.

“GDC is committed to using local and minority firms to work on this project,” said West. “Mike McSwain Architect is a prime example that we have world-class talent in our city that can assist GDC is building this transformative project.”
