The Caddo Parish Department of Public Works has bid their most recent project, 2018 Caddo Parish Road Treatment Program.
This project consists of 42 miles of asphaltic overlay and rehabilitation across roads in Caddo Parish. The project bid of $5.6 million dollars came in $400,000 under estimate and will begin in late April. Daily detours and some delays can are anticipated for most of the summer.
All commercial and recreational travel will continue unrestricted.
The Parish has already bid a 13 span Linwood Ave Bridge in 2018, and upcoming projects include the replacement of two bridges on Providence Rd; replacement of bridges on Pine Hill Rd and Keithville-Springridge Rd; and various smaller drainage projects throughout the Parish.
Motorists are encouraged to check the status of road construction conditions prior to beginning commutes and can access up-to-date information regarding Parish construction activities and other critical incidents at www.caddo.org.
