Caddo Parish Commission holds Dist. 12 update meeting tonight

Caddo Parish Commissioner Louis Johnson (District 12) is hosting a Community Meeting and District Update for citizens in Caddo Parish Commission District 12. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 6:15pm at Western Hills Baptist Church, 4153 Pines Road, Shreveport, LA 71119. 

Citizens of District 12 will receive important updates and have their concerns heard and addressed by parish and city officials and department heads.  Community Safety, Public Works, Code Enforcement, Water, Property Standards and Neighborhood Clean-Up are among the topics to be discussed at the District 12 update. 

“We want the citizens of District 12 and all concerned citizens to come out and be informed,” said District 12 Commissioner Louis Johnson. “Spread the word, and come out and make your voice heard,” said Johnson.

Parish Administrator Dr. Woodrow Wilson, Shreveport Mayor Ollie Tyler, District 12 School Board Member Dottie Bell, Greenwood Mayor Frank Stawasz and other officials will be in attendance to offer greetings and relevant City information.

The meeting is sponsored by Caddo Parish Commissioner Louis Johnson and co-sponsored by City Councilman and Council President Jerry Bowman.
