Each year, the Bossier Chamber of commerce awards its coveted Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year awards.
What makes a business or person a great candidate for these awards? We will highlight some of these attributes in the coming weeks with examples form past award winners.
Customer service is always key when you are running a business! Our 2016 Small Business of the Year, Rosewood Home Market, was recognized for not only exemplary customer service but having that personal touch as well. You’ll find a friendly face from Rosewood, whether you are visiting their store on Douglas Drive or welcoming them into your home or business for decorating services. On top of their personal service, the Market also showcases the work of local artisans, helping others create a business for themselves. This commitment to the customer made them a great choice for our Small Business of the Year award.

Another 2016 Small Business of the Year winner, Lauve’s Pediatric Day Health Center, provides yet another level of customer service in our area. Lauve’s has filled a gap in service in Bossier-Shreveport, providing daily, skilled nursing case to medically fragile children from birth to 21 years old. Lauve’s “customers” are those who cannot always help or speak for themselves. By creating this facility, Lauve’s is providing these children an alternative to home health care and giving those with special needs a place they can call their own!
