Enrollment now open for Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier Ambassador Program, which will educate participants on local attractions and the economic impact of tourism
The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau will host the first installment of its all-new Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier Ambassador Program, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 14 at the Downtown Shreveport Visitor Center located at 629 Spring Street.
The program is designed to create “superfans” of Shreveport-Bossier while highlighting the importance of tourism and hospitality to the regional economy. The day will end with a quiz for prizes and the awarding of certificates to those who complete the program. Participants will be added to an e-mail database and kept up to speed on upcoming things to do, volunteer opportunities, and tourism and hospitality industry happenings.
The Be a Fan of Shreveport-Bossier Ambassador Program will be offered twice a year on an ongoing basis. More information, including a schedule of upcoming program dates, can be found at www.Shreveport-Bossier.org/
